SAAMANJASYA '10
Saamanjasya ’10, a novel concept, is being organized by Vinod Gupta School of Management,
IIT Kharagpur in the third week of March 2010. The aim of the event is to bring
together Corporate and NGO’s on a common platform to ensure inclusive growth and
inculcate a culture of “Giving back to the society” in the youth. Saamanjasya invites
the cognitive genius of the country at one place, to trigger their intellect and
to harvest the synergy of ideas for the betterment of all.
The event encapsulates a plethora of competitions all on the theme of sustainable
collaboration. Saamanjasya urges the participants to put on their thinking caps
not just for making a quick buck but to develop ways in which the crippling issues
of the society at large can be addressed.
With participation from all domains such as Law, Political
Science and Engineering in addition to the premier B-schools, Saamanjasya will be
a platform for a completely new level of youth involvement in societal issues.
